Description: Starna Spectrophotometer Micro Flow Cell
Physical Configuration: Flowcell with small volume. The sample chamber is a cylindrical sample chamber drilled through the black cell body with a round window.
Primary use: Absorption measurement in useable range (see charts below) where small sample sized is required.
Clear windows: Two
Instrument: Designed for use in spectrophotometers which can use cells with small aperatures. Most modern spectrophotometers can use this cell successfully
Path lengths available: 3mm diameter can have 10, 20, 40, 50, 100mm. The 2mm, 1.5mm and 1mm diameter aperture cells are available with 10mm lightpath only.
Most commonly used path length: 10 mm
Aperture dimensions: 3mm (most commonly used), 2mm, 1.5mm, 1mm diameter
Available 'Z' dimensions: 8.5, 15 and 20mm. Click here to check the "Z" dimension for your instrument.
Usage note: The aperture is small but can be used with successfully with most modern spectrophotometers
