Description: |
Starna Fluorometer Flow Cells |
Physical Configuration: |
Flowcell which makes maximum use of the cell dimensions to give the largest possible aperature both vertically and in width which creates the largest excitation and emission windows. The flowcells have a tubulation on the bottom for filling and a tubulation on the top for venting the sample out of the cell. |
Primary use: |
Fluorimetric measurement in useable spectrum for the material (see charts below) |
Clear windows: |
Four |
Instrument: |
Designed for use in fluorometric instruments which can accomodate the bottom filling tubing. |
Path lengths available: |
10x10 mm, 10x4mm |
Aperture dimensions: |
10x35mm and 4x35mm |
Available 'Z' dimensions: |
Can be used with all Z dimensions |
Usage note: |
Check your instrument carefully to make sure that you can make the bottom fill tube fit and allow for a flexible tubing connection. Most fluorometers have a solid sample compartment bottom which would not allow the use of these cells. |
Connections: |
Quartz tubulations, permanently fused to the top and bottom of the cell, allow for simple and secure push on or sleeved connections using flexible tubing such as silicone rubber, PTFE or PVC. The dimensions of the tubulations on the cells are 2mm ID, 4mm OD and 16mm long. |
